As an artist selling on Spoonflower, your artwork can be purchased by customers to be printed on demand on a wide range of fabrics, wallpaper, and home decor items. In this article, learn about our full product range and the types of projects and customers you may be designing for!
Fabric
Spoonflower’s fabrics are used by customers across the world for a variety of projects. This includes DIY crafts, custom apparel, fun costumes, unique upholstery, and so much more. We carry both natural fiber and polyester fabric options.
When it comes to designing, it’s helpful to note that Spoonflower’s fabrics vary in width depending on the type of fabric the customer chooses. The narrowest fabric is 42” and the widest is 116”. This is why creating a flawless seamless repeat is so important, as our system will repeat your design tile to fill the width and length of the item the customer orders. Wallpaper

Home Decor
We also take our custom fabric one step further and sew it into home decor! This includes bedding, table linens, curtains, and throw blankets.
- Bedding - Duvet Covers, Sheet Sets, and Shams
- Dining - Tablecloths, Placemats, Napkins, Table runners, and Tea Towels
- Living & Decor - Curtains, Throw pillows, and Throw Blankets
When it comes to designing, the scale and layout that you save for fabric will be used for home decor as well. Your account is set to sell on Home Decor by default, but you can opt-out in your account settings if you choose. With the exception of tea towels, our Home Decor items are definitely more well-suited for repeat patterns than single engineered designs. We encourage artists to create designs that will work on a variety of products, as there is not a way to further limit which products a design is offered on besides opting out of home decor completely.
