How Long Will It Take to Get My Order?

 

You can select the production and delivery method of your order from one of three options: Standard Delivery, Guaranteed Delivery and Rush Service. The price and delivery date for each option will be published during step two of check out so that you can select the method that best suits your needs.

Standard Print Times

Standard print times are determined by the current volume of orders in our factories.

An estimate* for standard printing and production time is published on each product page beneath the Add to Cart button. This estimate is in business days. This does not include delivery time.

Because of the nature of printing on-demand, standard production turn times are truly estimates. 

You typically receive two emails regarding your order:

  • An order confirmation with an estimated date when you place your order
  • A shipping confirmation with tracking information once your order has shipped

Rush & Guaranteed Delivery Options

If you need your fabric or wallpaper by a specific date, we recommend ordering on Rush or Guaranteed Delivery. Home Decor items are not available for this service.

  • Rush Delivery: A Rush order ships out no more than 2 business days after it has been placed.
    • For example, an order placed on Monday (UTC time) will ship out on Wednesday.

  • Guaranteed Delivery: A Guaranteed order ships out no more than 5 business days after it has been placed.
    • For example, an order placed on Tuesday (UTC time) will ship out the next Tuesday.

Delivery dates and additional costs for these methods will be published during Step 2 of the Checking Out so you may make an informed decision.*

PLUS Membership

Spoonflower PLUS members receive a guaranteed print turnaround time of one week, regardless of the current processing time.

Separate Shipments

Occasionally, some items from the same order will be shipped separately. While the reasons may vary, this is likely due to one of the following:

  • the type of product ordered
  • printer capacity from day to day
  • other operational factors determined by our print team

To protect your items from any damage in transit, orders that include different product types will ship separately. This also helps to avoid any unnecessary delays, since some items are constructed in different locations on different timelines.

To help organize orders, our system generates individual Order ID’s for different product types after your order is placed. If you create a free account you can review the progress of each order. You will also receive a shipping confirmation email with more details as each partial order ships.

Shipping FAQs

I received a shipping confirmation email, but my tracking has not updated on UPS or USPS. Was my order shipped?

Carriers often skip scanning parcels during the shipping process to ensure your packages are delivered in a timely manner. This means tracking may say "label created" with no additional information. Don't worry, your parcel is likely on its way! Standard delivery can take up to two weeks in the United States. If you still haven't received your goods after that time, please contact us directly.

My tracking says my order has been delivered, but I have not received it.  Where is my order?

Shipping carriers sometimes mark an order as delivered before it actually arrives at your address. We do know that this can cause confusion, but in most cases these packages will show up in 2-3 days. If you still haven't received your Standard Delivery package and it has been over two weeks since shipping, please contact us directly. 

My order never arrived.  Where is it?

We send a shipping confirmation email to the email address used to place your order when the items leave our factory. This email contains the tracking number and delivery method so you can follow along. If you did not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folder. If you still cannot find this email, please contact us.

 

If you have an account, you can sign in and review your Order Status and History. If you don't have an account, you can create one for free. Be sure to use the same email address you ordered under and follow the links in your confirmation email. We cannot resend the shipping confirmation email, but the tracking information will be found in your Order History.

 

If you track your package and find out that your order was not delivered, has been lost, or has been returned to our factory, please contact us and we will make things right!
